Prime Time House is a place of hope for individuals whose lives have been disrupted by the devastating effects of mental illness.

Afflictions like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder can erode familial and social relationships, curtail educational aspirations, and derail careers.

Frequently, the lives of these individuals are filled with loneliness and despair. Many have come to Prime Time House after having lived for years in total isolation within their communities or the confines of a medical facility.

  • At Prime Time House, the focus is on health, not illness, and on what people can do, not what they can't do.
  • Participants are members (not clients or patients) seeking to rebuild their lives.
  • Our activities are managed and directed by the membership.
  • Our staff functions to support, assist, and encourage members in fulfilling their self-determined goals and responsibilities.
  • Members and staff are partners in every enterprise.
  • We build on strength, not weakness; success, not failure; hope, not fear.

Prime Time House is a CERTIFIED Clubhouse and we subscribe to
these STANDARDS

Working with others, making friends, and learning new skills rebuilds confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose. As members attain greater independence, they find their own apartments, look for jobs, or go back to school.
